Our Programs
In addition to our school offerings, throughout the year, Beth Chaverim offers additional programs for adults and families. These include:
- Holiday High Services: Come celebrate the High Holidays with the Beth Chaverim community. Rosh Hashanah services will be held on Thursday, September 29th; Yom Kippur on Saturday, October 8th. Seats are available for non-members as well. Contact us for details.
- Shabbat Services: Beth Chaverim periodically holds Shabbat services for our members and their guests. Please check the calendar for upcoming services.
- Holiday Programs: Celebrate Sukkot, Chanukah, and Passover with the Beth Chaverim community. Special events are scheduled to celebrate each holiday with family, friends, and the community. Check the calendar for dates.
Chanukah celebration:
- Adult Continuing Education: Meeting take place at the Barnes & Noble in Lincolnshire. Check the calendar for details and contact us if you would like more information.

- Bible Study: Meetings take place at the Barnes & Noble in Lincolnshire. Study is done in English and no prior experience is necessary. Check the calendar for details and contact us if you would like more information.
- Book Club: Join other Beth Chaverim members to discuss the selected book(s). Recent selections include: A Palestine Affair By Jonathan Wilson, The Last Jew By Yoram Kaniuk and The Girl from Foreign By Sadia Shepard. Check the calendar for details.
- Judaism in Action: Our members focus on one particular mitzvah, or good deed, each year literally into action with multiple programs to benefit the community. In the past, the focus has been on feeding the hungry, kindness to animals and dignity for the elderly and disability awareness. If you’d like to help us put Judaism into Action, contact us.
